Dr. Linda Ryder
Dr. Ryder has focused on a mobile practice providing quality in-home care for the past 20 years and prior to that she worked full time for 11 years in various Virginia veterinary hospitals. Dr. Ryder is a 1977 graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Biology and a 1982 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She lives in Henrico's West End with her husband, Larry, and their 4 pets: Daffy, a 9 year old Golden Retriever; Ebenezer, a 12 year old Main Coon mix; Zelda, a 3 year old Torti cat; and Margot, a 3 year old Torti cat. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, exercising, reading, knitting, walking with her dog, and watching movies.
Kate Sarfaty
Kate lives in Goochland with her husband, Steve, and their 4 pets: Gooch, a 14 year old black Lab; Babe, a 13 year old black Lab; Jeter, a 2 year old yellow Lab; and Freckles, a year old tabby cat. She is a graduate of Green Mt. College and is active in several community organizations. She sits on the board of directors for The Elizabeth Kates Foundation, The Center for Rural Culture, and the Goochland CASA. She also volunteers for Meals on Wheels and the Goochland Food Pantry. In her spare time, she enjoys nature, gardening, feeding her Runner ducks and various other birds at her feeders, swimming, and walking with her dogs. She has worked for Dr. Ryder since 2005 and enjoys the telephone relationships that she has with many of CAHC's clients, despite not knowing them and their pets in person.
Jessica Duncan
Jessica lives in Midlothian with her husband, Eric, and their one dog; Izzy, a pit bull mix. She is originally from West Virginia and moved here in 2011. She is a graduate in Biology from Concord University, and has worked in various capacities in the veterinary field since 2007. She is an avid reader and gamer, and enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family, and dog.
